Silsoe Technology have just completed another successful design of a robot cable routing system for a major UK confectionary manufacturer.  

The solution was optimised using SolidWorks and Cosmos  Motion to predict cable and robot interactions.

Harvesting review

A Silsoe Technology review of brassica and whole head lettuce harvesting technologies has just been published by the Horticultural Development Company (HDC).

This HDC commissioned review highlights the development opportunities and technological gaps that are limiting the adoption of more automated harvesting systems at present.

Novel Fishing Lure manufacturing opportunity

A new type of plug fishing lure has been conceived.  The lure has a hollow body and intake vane that allows water to flow through the lure to energise various internal or trailed attractors.  Different configurations can be easily tried by quick changing the attractors.

We are seeking manufacturers to take on final design, manufacture and marketing of the lure.
